The letter i recieved off here was recognised with the code but nothing else can be added. I can also look at the progress of my appeal and it also does not recognise this number. If i just laugh and ignore all (if any) future contact with popla will it be bad news for me or will it just go away in time.????

POPLA are running massively behind schedule - probably your adjudication will be at least two months after the day they said it would be - possibly three or more. Each month that goes by adds another month to the delays because appeals are coming in twice as fast as POPLA can process them.

That also applies to enquiries. They are meant to reply within 5 working days, but are rarely hitting this.

    Therefore I suggest.

    1) Add the reasons to your appeal that coupon mad has suggested. She is the bees knees when it comes to disability issues. (You may have already done this)
    2) Get the permission to park from your HR in writing and send that in to POPLA too.
    3) POPLA have kpi's to meet, which include response times to answer queries, response times to process cases and keeping the number of complaints down, so if you are not satisfied with any of these you can raise a complaint with london council here http://www.popla.org.uk/Complaints.htm

Just noticed this. This is incorrect; you can email in new stuff at any time up to the appeal. Just address it to enquiries@popla.org.uk and put your POPLA code in the title of the email.

You can also submit extra evidence online here: https://www.popla.org.uk/uploadevidence.htm

Don't be a bozo like I was and accidently transpose digits in your POPLA number. :-)

If you are really stressed, then phone this number: 0845 207 7700 (open 9-5 mon-fri) and speak to one of the admin team who will be able to reassure you that your new emails have been received and added to the case (note - I have never actually tried phoning so don't know what the delays are like)

You are confused aren't you? POPLA are not the parking firm, you should be trying your hardest to add a decent appeal wording about this Equality Act 2010 breach to POPLA, by hook or by crook.

Can I just check - who have you actually appealed to, what email address and did you have a 10 digit 'verification code' for POPLA?

Yes i have appealed and i had a code. This was recognised and went through ok. I have since tried to upload photos of 30/40 cars illegally parked on my employers land and have no recieved a parking ticket and some not even having permits. When i have tried to upload them it will not let me. Im just going to let them take me to court, i refuse to pay anything when i pay for a permit and have a bowel condition recognised off my employer and also have since the ticket had a resonible adjustment put in place so i dont have to park illegally if im court short. This has all just come to a head since my employer put myself and work colleuges on a rotation system , i used to work very close to my house and this was never a problem. but now it is a major problem for me as i now work in the city centre for the same employer on a rotation system which causes me stress, anxiety and also bring on my bowel issue. all this has also been confirmed by my G.P and works Occupational Health who have both asked for an ajustment to be put in place and for me to stay at my place of work next to my house. My manager is a knob.

Why bother? That wasn't what we advised you to say to POPLA, pics of other cars have no bearing on your case whatsoever! ZERO. Did you manage to send an email with the extra info? If not, PLEASE just post POPLA a flippin snail-mail letter (no pics of other cars!!) care of London Councils (see the London Councils website) quoting your 10 digit POPLA code and enclosing a decent appeal wording to add to the last one!!!!!!

If they do, then at least take advice here before rushing off a half-baked defence.

You could have won at POPLA (still can if you strike lucky or manage to add more).

    Well done! :T

Can you show us a picture of your POPLA letter if you are saying they made a decision in your favour? And what did you write in your appeal if you don't mind saying? People can learn from successes like yours. Did they consider the additional information I wrote for you, hope so...but we'd like to know if sending extra info like that works!

Who made your decision, Shona, Chris or Matthew?

Please add your POPLA decision success, copied & pasted or linked as a PDF letter to a post here:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4488337

And POPLA didn't issue the ticket of course, it's not theirs. They made the decision in your favour.

    :)

The Operator issued a parking charge notice arising out of the presence at (my Place of work) of a vehicle with registration mark xxxxxx

The Appellant appealed against liability for the parking charge.

The Assessor has considered the evidence of both parties and has determined that the appeal be

The Assessor’s reasons are as set out.

The Operator should now cancel the parking charge notice forthwith.
