Help with virus! please!

Ive just ran avg and it had detected i ahve the java/ByteVerify virus. I'm a bit new to viruses and the like but ive dona google and had a quick look but am always abit unsure about taking their advice. So i thought i'd try here to see if anyone has had any experience of this virus and could advise me as to removing it from my p.c.
i would really appreciate any help! thanks

IIRC Go to Start>Control Panel> Select Java> Delete files>OK.
The virus is in the Java cache and the above will remove it.0 -

Yep. Don't worry about it it's quite minor just keep your virus checker upto date and do regular checks.
