Hi guys here goes
I have just bought a new laptop (lenovo g550) and i am running windows 7 My question is about a product key in order to run microsoft office. The pc keeps asking for a product key but when i put in the key of the underside of the pc it says that the key is invalid/incorrect. Does anyone out there know why ?I am sure that i am inputting the code correctly
Thanks in advance

The key underneath is not for MS Office, its for Windows, that's why it says Windows on it. Your laptop only had a 60 day trial installed so you need to purchase a licence or uninstall it and use something like OpenOffice instead.0

I had this problem with my new PC. There should be a key supplied but there isn't.
If you want a free trial just download it from the MS website.0 -
He's had the trial - it was pre-installed on the laptop. I suspect if another trial is downloaded it will just show as expired immediately. If that was not so there would never be a need to buy it as you could constantly download trials.
There will probably be other trial junk preloaded - typically some sort of AV and firewall package - McAffee or Norton usually.0 -
Uninstall the MS Office trial and install Openoffice instead, it's free and compatible with any of the stuff you've produced with yur trial version of Office. Also, as above check for any other free trail software and get rid of it if your don't use it.

If you have a student connection, £40 or less. Don't bother if you don't need to do so.0
