  • Thanks Tomsmum - I've been able to leave blogs before so it's really confusing me! I'll have another look later.

Marg - I'll be wearing a dark blue flowery top, DD will be next to me in a red jumper. My hair desperately needs a cut so look out for the loooong fringe!! It's recorded this evening, they've said we should be done by 9pm. If I get to ask a question I'll be letting everyone on here and on facebook know to watch it!

Thanks for the FF blog link rainmac - just need to work out if I can link to challenges now.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

DTB – absolutely amazing bunting you&son have done for your sister. I’m sure she will love it. Well done.

Craftygranny – thanks for the update on your BIL, I was wondering how things were going.

Lou05 – my son’s invites didn’t take that long to make up once my OH had cut everything out on the craft robo, probably about an hour to make 12.

Flourgirl – thanks for the help on finding the online shop on the robo. It appears that the button is missing, but Rusty has sent me some instructions to try to fix it, (thank you Rusty) which I will get my OH to look at later tonight, as he is the computer whizz in this house. Thanks too for the envelope you have sent me it arrived today, and I’ll open it next week xx

Well done on sorting out your blog Marg.

Glittermum – been thinking about your friend today, how did things go?

Rainmac – glad to here your boys are on their way back to full health. I always find that medicine before school always helps too! Hope your son has a great school trip tomorrow – is he going anywhere exciting? How was the beef stew last night in the slow cooker?

The-Wife, hope you are felling better today.

((Hugs)) to anyone that needs them.

    xx

CT, the stew was good but the boys wanted to have it with spaghetti  which ruined it for me. My next slow cooked thing is going to be a curry or spag bol :D The shcool trip is to a museum about 45 minutes away, he's so excited!!!

Mel, what are the papers on your latest card on your blog? The card is absolutely gorgeous and I love the strong coloured and patterned papers. I really like Paper Makeup stamps too but only have a couple. You gave me a sentiment one about dancing in the rain which I absolutely love and want to use it with the Magnolia Tilda in the Rain stamp. I ordered the Tilda from Sir Stampalot a couple of weeks ago but it's out of stock :(
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

Rainmac - the papers are from their "county fair" range. I used "ferris wheel" - I also cut the flower from the back of the paper, and "cotton candy" - you can buy them here:

they've got two new ranges out soon - I'll definately be getting them - I've got most of their papers!!!

Mary - I hope you're taking it easy and that everyone is looking after you.
  • Thanks for all the wishes about my friend yesterday and today. The surgery went as expected but she's got to wait about 3 days to see if the tissue has taken. I've had a bit of an emotional day toda as my mum was having a colonoscopy to look at a mass she had - thankfullly it was some polyps but we've had a bit of a hard week waiting - especially as it is around my dad's birthday and we lost himm before my boys came along. Still - it's lovely news and I'm having a celebratory glass of wine now!

Craftygranny - sorry to not hear better news about your BIL -my thoughts are with you.

Rainmac - I hope you made the most of your freedom again today - sick children are the worst! J was back at school today, now it's just DH whose still completely deaf but finally went to the docs and has got drops and anti bs!

Melissa - love you latest card too! I'm trying to hold off but so many of the October Afternoon papers are gorgeous.

MAry OP - what are you like? Just make sure you don't bump your bottom too quickly on the stairs!

My friend has organised a crafting night here on MOnday - but I''ve had to point out that I don't think the enormous order of card will arrive in time! Thanks for the offer Rainmac but hopefully we should be OK. I don't think I'll ever want to see another t bag holder or post it note holder by the time we've finished 600 of them! I bought the t bags from a place that supplies b and bs etc - and we bought some individually wrapped chocolates and biscuits to go with them.

Rusty - take care of youself - we'll still be here!

Peppop - your denim bag is fab!
