Blimey Jailhouse, if I'd known you were on QT I would have watched it. Does it go onto iplayer, I'll find out...

Fab pic, thank you for posting Gem x

Mel, you sent me your beautiful card :j, I never want to take it down as it it is so pretty, may be dusting it next week, thank you and the images are beautiful - going to do some colouring tonight :D

Lou, I think Promarkers take a bit of getting used to. Advice I found useful was to colour in little circle movements rather than colouring in lines, it helps the colour to blend together. There's some tuturials on the Passion for Promarkers blog about using them and I'm sure there'd be stuff on utube or the likes if you googled.

Louby, sorry you and little one have colds. It's horrible seeing your children ill isn't it but as the doctor says, it all helps build their immunity which is really important. Take care xxx

Rainmac - I'm glad it arrived quickly - that's why I said I was happy you liked it because it was already on its way to you!!!! (its sort of blue - I know that's your favourite colour!).

I have just been reading though the thread and discovered that quite a few of you have linked to my blog (where I offer free craft paper downloads, amongst other things) and I want to tell you how pleased i am that so many of you are enjoying them. I never got around to putting my blog address in my profile when i became a member of MSE (though i've blogged for 6 years come July), but you found this MSE'r in Blogdom anyway!

I don't want to put the link to my blog in this post in case it is construed as shameless self promotion. But I just wanted to say thanks.

I think you guys and gals may just have inspired me to add some new papers to my freebies page...i've been working at other projects for some time and have neglected my paper designing, somewhat.

    Anyway, many thanks.

    :-)

ETA: have just added a link to my profile.

Hi, I'm not sure which blog is yours, but you can link your blog address to your profile (lots of us in this forum have). If you click on user cp at the top of this page, then edit details, you can add a homepage. When other users of this forum click on your name, they'll then be given the option to visit your homepage.

After a week mobile now working..........had an upgrade so need a degree to work it our..............lol:rotfl:
Still all that aside, managed to re-vamp green egg box OH was going to chuck out. Tore it a bit when I tried to take the price off but covered the top with some green paper and popped the odd little flower on here and there to cover up any other little flaws. Filled it with ornamental eggs (decorated in green and yellow -got from charity shop.....I'm not that clever.......lol) tied with a ribbon and job done..............do for sons girlfriend for easter.
Amazing the little bits you get done when walking about it a bit limited................lol
(bet OH forgot to get me some card )
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all I have come here for some help please.
Do any of you sell cards I need a beautiful, girly 18 pink or gold birthday card for my daughters 18th bday,I am unable to make them as just not creative.
I have already bought a sock monkey from a member on the Sock monkey thread and he is just wonderful & so unique!
Now can I find a card that will delight me,do any of you sell on a site please send me a link,so i can see your work.
Another thing I need to ask,I have bought a gold box as I want to give it to my daughter for her 18th as a memory box for all her cards & little novelties,But I am useless and not creative so if i have the words right I could be wrong i thinks it decopage??? needed to place on the top maybe a shoe or a bag (sticky out cardboard?)with maybe a bow where would the bow go,any ideas so much appreciated,do you make these and sell them? I like to buy from someone from MSE as I know they are all here for a reason so usually ask here before i trawl ebay!

  • Whitty, I'd happily have a go for you. Have a look through my blog (linked from my profile) to see the kind of cards I make. I have a lovely Forever Friends stamp with the bear holding a bottle of champagne, and large woodchip numbers that could be coloured and glossed to match the card x
