Hi People,
I need some help! I got this message from horribel paypal.
You are nearing the £1,700.00 GBP annual receiving limit set by international law. When you reach the annual receiving limit, you will no longer be able to withdraw or send money, fund transactions, or close your account until you complete the steps required to remove your limit.
1) First of all i need to give business information. I dont have a business as im just selling the odd few things to make abit of money on the side. What information should i put here?
2) Give proof of delivery of 4 items which i have sold on ebay recently.
Thats no problem as luckily i still have the tracking codes.
3) This is the most difficult and problematic issue. I need to send invoices for all of the 4 items that i have just sold. Its not a problem getting them.
The problem is that i got banned  from paypal a long time ago because i didnt have receipts for some of the items which i brought and which were given to me as presents.
Now the paypal accounts on my sisters name and address .........whoops.
They require the invoices to be in the account holders name and address but all the products were brought by me in my name and delivered at my address. What do i do?
They obviously have my records aswell??????
Paypal toss pots, any suggestions would be very helpfull.

Yeah, sounds like a spoof to me.
Have you gone into your Paypal account and checked the terms? £1700 limit is a pretty obscure number!I'd rather be playing Squash!

31 Jan. 2008: You have received a total amount of £650.00 GBP or more in payments to your PayPal account in less than a year since you started using your PayPal account. When you receive a total of £1,700.00 GBP, you will no longer be able to withdraw or send funds any longer until the completion of the required steps. Please complete the steps required to lift your limit.
PayPal is required by law to comply with European Union Anti-Money Laundering regulations by collecting information from customers when they receive more than the set limit in total payments. These steps need to be completed as soon as possible to comply with this regulation.0 -

Its no big deal everyone has to go through this once you reach a certain amount and there are different ways of doing this hence I guess thats why FFay said do a search and you will see what other information everyone esle has produced.
In my case, I just told them i was not a business seller as such I do not have information like invoices etc..that they require...and then I went through the bank confirmation thingy and that was all I had to do.
Do the search and see what other infomration people provided. Dont panic everyone has to go through this at some point in time.0 -
Didi - I think this part is the problem:3) This is the most difficult and problematic issue. I need to send invoices for all of the 4 items that i have just sold. Its not a problem getting them.

make a trading name (any name), PayPal never say that you must have a company registered with company house.
2) Give proof of delivery of 4 items which i have sold on ebay recently.
Thats no problem as luckily i still have the tracking codes.

Just tell paypal, nodody is available to sign the parcels at your sister's address. So your sister asked her supplier to send it to you.
Is your ebay account on your name or your sister's name? have you got banned from ebay before? If you never banned from ebay, I think this is not big problem.
Paypal toss pots, any suggestions would be very helpfull.
hopefully this is helpful0
