I have had one from Virgin that wasn't

They will also give you an unlock code for their phones if you have put £30 in credit on the phone, or in my case once they gave it to me as I was an existing customer.

Depends on the phone, Browntoa. I don't think even you can unlock a Siemens such as the A55 or A65, so I wonder how Virgin manage to do it, once the customer has spent £30 on airtime.

The mention of the Samsung A800 makes me smile. I loved that phone! Small, cute, dead easy to use, does exactly what you need but alas is no more. Wish Id kept mine. If only they had brought out an exact replica in colour. I got the colour one that replaced it and it was terrible, totally non user friendly menus, awful texting and it was then I started to pine for my A800...........

most samsungs seem to have a similar menu layout
its also got camera etc
