That's so sad about your friend, it sounds as though she cherished your friendship just as much as you cherished hers. Don't ever feel worried about having a good cry, and seeing a counsellor just to talk things through would be a good idea like you said.
It sounds as though her memory is really motivating you now, which is really positive and I bet she would be really proud of you! xx

Thank you for that it brought a tear to my eye.

Again, I am so disappointed with myself as I did not reach my ebay mini goal and even with all the best intentions as well as working none stop until I go to bed I won't be able to do it

I have also had to "borrow" from the Centre Parcs money again as we needed a few food bits and my budget for this month seems to have gone completely tits up

    Mini Goals
    • 50 things listed on ebay 8th June = 10/50
    • Centre Parcs 22nd September = £250/£1000
    • Pay off £5000 by 31st December = £500/£5000

    Today I have/will
    • Daily clicks
    • Surveys
    • Washing on 30
    • Dry on clothes horse
    • Ebaying
    • Check online banking
    • NSD
    My to do list
    • Budget better
    • Work harder on ebay
    • Get my motivation back
    • Stop spending on things we don't need
    • Go to Lidl and Aldi (I do get 10% off at Morrisons though)
I have been to the Drs today and he signed me off for another 2 weeks and have also referred me for CBT

I now have no excuse for not working hard on ebay. I will set myself achievable mini goals so I can meet them and not get disheartened and give up.

So now more rambling and messing about it is time to go and get serious.

    Mini goals:
    • List 20 things on ebay by 11th July - 0/20
    • Centre Parcs spending money by 22nd September - £250/£1000
    • Pay of £5000 by 31st December £500/£5000
    I WILL BE BETTER :money:

As the title suggests I have lost my motivation  Once again I have done no ebaying and there is no good reason for it. I did my daily clicks and surveys but I have so much ebaying to do and I to put it frankly I just cannot be bothered

I am so annoyed with myself but try as I might I cannot seem to get my finger out.

Tomorrow is another day though and hopefully I will wake up in a more positive mood and actually reach my ebay mini goal.

Please feel free to give me a kick up the bum as I know I need it :money:

I have to get motivated and really make an effort with my ebaying. I am not happy with myself as I have been what I can only describe as lazy with my ebaying. I am not too sure if it is anything to do with my depression making me feel generally disinterested in everything but I really need to start making progress. I need to keep my mind active to stop me dwelling on things and just sitting about wallowing in my depression. Ebay would be a great way to keep me occupied and also make some money so it is a win win if only I could get myself focused.

I WILL BECOME MORE MOTIVATED AND START MAKING PROGRESS

Many thanks - will have a closer look later, at home, as am in "work" at the mo
  • Hi saver. Sorry you're having a rough time of it lately :(

You do seem to be setting quite high goals. For your ebay stuff, rather than try to list 50 things in one go why not break it down - take photo's of all the things first for example, then write the blurb for them, then list them 5 or 10 at a time. Make it a bit more manageable and you'll be more likely to do it.

also if you list 50 at once, then they all END at once, that is a lot of parcels to sort out in one go!

Don't be so hard on yourself but try to make it all a bit easier, you'll get there :)

I agree with you there I think that as the goals are so high it seems like I will never make them and just give up trying  I will just try to ebay EVERY day and see how that goes.

I have not yet done any ebay today  but I have been working out how much "free" money I have:
    My one poll £10.90
    OH one poll £4.85
    Quidco £78.86
    Pigsback £6.87
    OH pigsback £1.30
    Topcashback £1.16
    Greasypalm £13.35
    TOTAL £117.29 :j

I am actually quite surprised that there is so much but I do still need to ebay.

I WILL get my motivation back
