I stayed at a cottage a couple of weeks ago and woke up to find a couple of bites on my legs. They were quite big and very itchy but, i thought i was bitten outside the previous day.
Anyhow, the following nite i was reading before going to sleep. I had a cup of tea and brushed my teeth ready to sleep.
My head had just hit the pillow, when my top lip felt very dry. It was very uncomfortable and i got up out of bed. WHen i looked in the mirror i couldnt believe it.......my lip had completly swollen up.
I am not sure if i had been bitten but,i was taking no chances.
The next day i stripped the bed and hoovered the floor.I think i saw a bug...but, no signs of spotting etc. I wasnt bitten the next night so maybe that did the trick?
has anyone else experienced such an extreme reaction to a bite???0
