BT total broadband - any deals out there?

My BT total broadband contract expires shortly.
We are on option 3 at present. There is little difference between option 3 and option 2 costwise.

Have you called their retention team to ask?0

ask for your MAC and they will put you through to retentions , mention the Free laptop deals from AOL and carphone warehouse etc
should be able to blag a free BTvision box ( and possibly Setanta etc) and discounted fees for a few months
do your homework first so you know the prices from AOL etcEx forum ambassador

I tried "retensions" on Tuesday regarding my contract ending on the 26th of this month.
The best I was offered was 6 month free and 12 months @£19.99.
They did offer a BT Vision box,however I already have a digital PVR.
In the end I got a MAC and promptly signed up elsewhere on a 12 month contract. I personally did not want to be tied to a 18 month deal.0
