Hi
I have a w910i sony ericcson on a contract with 3.
The phone plays up ALOT.
Cant access the games folder
The phone switches itself off about 6-7 times a day
The phone mainly switches off when i answer it
Sometimes (about twice a week) i cant access text message options and have to master reset the phone.
I work freelance so obviously cant be without my phone for long.
I have rang 3's so called customer service, after a day of battling to get to speak to a manager he said i was eligible for a replacement phone and that these were known faults with the model(which i already knew as friends have the same phone and problems).
Midway through the call my phone switches off so i try to ring back and cant get through to the same guy and the new guy starts saying im not eligible for a replacement.
I have emailed them threatening to cancel my direct debit but dont know if that is a good idea and whether it will effect my credit rating
Any advice would be helpful,
cheers
Ben

If within the 12months, will have a warranty.
Contact 3 or the sony erricson shop for software reload.0 -
It will affect your credit rating.
I would however get a cheap replacement phone in the mean time (<£20).
And send the W910i back to 3.0 -
Cheers guys, if it effects credit rating then wont cancel it
Just spoke to sony erricson hopefully they can fix it better than the waste of space people at 30 -
if i was you, i would try upgrading the firmware on the phone using SEUS

Was thinking the same thing - I've had my w910i since launch day, no problems whatsoever. Sony Ericsson offer a 2 year warrenty opn most thier products, might be worth seeing how long it'll take to repair through 3 and Sony Ericsson, see which is faster.Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out - but I can usually shut her up with cake!0 -
take them to small claims court, they don't understand any other threat...
4 replacements, all faulty
BUYER BEWARE!0 -

i think its mainly due to the firmware on the phone as the more branding thats in the f/w, the more buggy the phone0
