I have a Vanquis Card with a low limit and high APR (please, no comments on this, it's my choice to have one) 
Anyway I was reading an article on the company that supply Vanquis Cards and found the following exerpt:
"Provident Financial is vying for the mantle of the country's most expensive lender with its easy shop card run in conjunction with Argos. You can borrow between £100 and £1,000 in Argos stores and put it on the card which quotes a typical APR of 152.3%."
So those of you that thought Vanquis and Capital One had high APR's, should steer clear of the Easy Shop Card

It's the doorstep lending thing; you can borrow say £200 over six months and pay back £350 or something ridiculous. They were sh*tting themselves when they were told that they had to quote APRs. It gets worse for smaller loans over shorter periods of time.
