  • £35 a day, that's crazy :eek: This thread is a real eye opener. Now I understand why my parents waited until they were 31 before buying their first place, and paid it cash.
  • 97p per day. It would be £6.07 if it were not for Stoozing. A saving of £1861.50 per year. I didn't realise it was that much!

    Offsetting so £1.77 per day vs. £3.93, giving effective interest rate about 3.1% so saving £788 per year on £22.2k capital outstanding
  • Currently we pay £ 6.15 per day.

  • Just worked ours out at a scary £27.96 per day in interest alone, or £42.75 per day if you include the capital element. We love our house - which we intend to stay in forever - but now I'm beginning to wonder....

    Balance 19th April '07 = minus £27,640
    Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.
  • I think I'd do a swap with most of you on here
    ours is just under £45 / day
