Sat here with my mortgage statement calculating all those horrid details and worked it out as just under £22 per day in interest alone.
In a high pitched voice I turn to my other half "£22 a day just in interest argghhh that's almost a pound an hour"
Response back "guess we best stay up longer and enjoy it then"

Interest is now down to 2.2p per day!!!!:T

wow! I love offsets too!
got mortgage statement in post today and our daily interest in January was £3.61. Thats about £10 less than a year ago!weaving through the chaos...0 -

Ours is now down to £1 a day. Next month it will fall to about 66p.0

In Feb 08 interest was 11.79 /day. Now it's 2.84 /day. It will be lower next month with boe rate fall to 1%

I am now paying £ 1.09 per day interest, it will fall again next month. In January 2008 when I took the mortgage out ot was £ 8.97, not a bad drop in 14 months.
