  • wow, that's not much at all! In the last 6 months, it's dropped from £27.96 to £13.66 per day, but we only took out our mortgage in May and borrowed £180k :)
  • £27.96 to £13.66 is a huge drop in a short space of time.

Mine was £10.60 a day in Feb 08. Overpayments and Interest Rate reductions have really made a difference.

Our daily interest is £33.55 presently, down from £33.70 when we remortgaged last Feb. It is dropping slowly, just not as quickly as I would like. All the more reason to find more OP's

Mine was £26.99 when I took it out in 2007. It's now £25.18, but in a couple of months when we go onto the SVR it will be £15.50 (assuming base rate is still 1%).
  • Added a new column to my spreadsheet to calculate the daily interest. And then had to do a new chart to show the drop!

At remortgage in Jul 07 £21.31, from Mar 09 (tracker rate cuts and overpayments) £1.82. :j
