Yes being able to edit is a very good feature and its needed IMO

I wrote 40 reviews last night (only ones i have had experience with locally) , and to now change the goalposts isnt very fair IMO it didnt mention about 200 words last night when i checked , i did write about my experience but just listed the pros and cons, some only were one line as the businesses have closed down a few years ago but are still listed, will these still count ?

And I agree with deanos that we shouldnt change the goalposts. It would be unfair for you not to earn the vouchers you have already earned.

We require only 200 characters (not words) for reviews. That is roughly 40 words. And for anyone who already earned the vouchers before we clarified our the T&Cs of our offer (we used to say that the reviews need to be of reasonable quality but did not specify a minimum character threshold) we are happy to give you the vouchers that you earned!

And we are also very happy for MSE users who write superb reviews (as most of you are) to continue earning up to £50 of vouchers. Just follow the process outlined in my earlier post to qualify.

We are happy to provide the appropriate number of vouchers to anyone who wrote reviews of reasonalbe quality before we modified our T&Cs this morning. So if you wrote 40 qualifying reviews, we are happy to provide you with a £20 voucher.

We greatly appreciate people like you who help our community by writing quality reviews. We hope you understand why we had to put the stricter criteria in place and hope that you will continue to help us promote great businesses and expose those that are not.

Is it only possible to earn 1 £10 Amazon voucher, or do you still get a £10 voucher for EVERY 20 reviews you post?
