Now the car it was in very good condition no scrash at all
But from my insurance letter is saids fromthe picture they got after the accident the car it was damage in front bumper from bad drivering
So now the want from me to expaine and give evidenc how the car has been stolen ? Which I send some internet web you can buy the key reader without profit how you are
Thanks for your respond0 -
The logical thing would be just not to mention the break in at all to direct line. It will only complicate matters and there's no official report to say it actually happened or anything.
Oh right this was over a year ago. D'OH0 -
Have a read of these articles from the Insurance Ombudsman. The Insurance Ombudsman gives independent decisions on Insurance claims if you cannot reach agreement with your Insurer. There is no cost to you for using their service, however it does take a long time to get a decision from them and first you have to make an "Official Complaint" to the Insurer.

There was a recent court case where car thiefs were patroling car parks, locating a car they liked and then applying to the DVLA for a duplicate log book. With this they could then simply go to a car dealer and obtain a duplicate key. They could then steal the car, I believe the DVLA have changed some of their systems recently because of this0 -
Yes i already done this with ombudsman and tomorow i will send the final respond to them .I think the only way is to send them in court but mayby going to say same thing again and again because is not easy for them to pay me £80000

Your best bet is to try the Ombudsman first as they tend to err on the side of the policyholder, if you are not happy with the Ombudsman's decision you can then go to court. You cannot go to ombudsman if the court have already ruled against you so its best to try the ombudsman first0

I purchased a 2003 mitsubishi verada late October 2009. The car, rego, insurance and stamp duty was fully financed through my bank. A condition on the loan was that I have fully comprehensive insurance.
On the early hours of Christmas morning 2009 I was woken by the police at my front door notifying me that my vehicle had been found smashed and still running with a key in the ignition only a short distance away from my home. As the vehicle was sold to me with only one key and one remote fob I ran straight to my handbag and showed the police that I still had my key. The police informed me that a resident in the street in which my vehicle was found witnessed a male running from my car with a tennis racquet which i had in the boot.
The police carried out a thorough investigation including forensic testing on the key (that i had never seen before) and no clear prints were obtained. The police were totally satisfied that i had nothing to do with the theft and i was issued with a victim of crime report and they have been extremely supportive since.
My insurance provider initially gave me a hire car but after 3 weeks my car was assessed as a write off and that is where my real problems began. I was contacted by a private investigator informing me I was now being investigated for insurance fraud. I had to endure a 2 1/2 hour interview (wasnt allowed anyone with me) and was told that i HAD to provide them with itemised phone bills from my home phone, mobile phone, my 3 childrens mobile phones, statements from all my finances, a police check that I had to pay for etc...
The PI has been calling my friends and family and insinuating that I am under financial stress and that i was trying to sell my car before it was stolen?????
I am ahead on my car loan and infact pay more than is required each month. My vehicle was insured for market value so even when they do pay out I will still owe $2,500 +. I am massively stressed by this whole situation as I am a single mother of three kids and unable to do the most simple tasks each day without a vehicle. They are treating me like a criminal. Im also still paying the loan but also having to pay for cabs, public transport etc...Please help me...any advice would be appreciated.0
