Thanks Errata, something else I have learned. Explains the panic at my surgery a few months ago when I was rushed to hospital with "Acute onset Glucoma" . over enthusiastic Locum. I had scratched my cornea. I think in your case you were caught in time. My mother was living alone in Yorkshire and there were no family to oversee her general health. When I returned to England to live and put her thru an MOT - all sorts was revealed - and all in advanced stages. I Know she had cateracts, MD and Glaucoma all well established by the time I caught it.
I think the secret is keeping the pressure down behind the eyes. Mum's was a mess for a few years.member # 12 of Skaters Club
