aureol212, you asked on the old thread about the 17 GWP (Sorry but I don't know how to quote from another thread)
This is the gift that you get when you spend over £5.

Thanks Geordielass, my DS is half geordie...:o

Mrs T suggested I go back to store and say that I should have got GWP and if they couldn't give it, nicely ask for a refund and then buy again, I tried to ask for GWP but SA was too smart and said as I had purchased 2 for £4, and she remembered me!! she couldn't do it - she said I could buy another nail varnish and she would give it to me.... because its local and I shop there regularly, I did. Didn't want to cause badwill.

I had a £3 off sanctuary product and it wouldn't go through, so she suggested I try larger Boots or call customer service, so I left it. I love Sanctuary but would rather buy a bargain, then buy the product.

My friend's wife had a baby yesterday and I thought good excuse to go bootsing today for mummy and baby products to welcome new DD to the world. But before I do, I had a quick look through secret hidden stash and found lots of goodies that I will never use, freebies, GWP, etc, was going to sell on ebay, but have decided new mummy will appreciate them more. So am making a basket of them, my OH is going to love me, he will think I have spent a fortune and ask me where I got cash from, I live on a budget which he gives me every week.

He told me off this morning, told me I should sleep when DS is sleeping as he is keeping us awake at night. He said I know you love going on the internet when he is sleeping... little does he know I spend some of the time on MSE!!:rotfl: , the other half is spent cleaning, etc.

Am going to try and get vouchers today, fingers crossed everybody and see if new mag out.

Will try and grab a few more bargains for goody basket.;)

Hmmm......are GWP regional? Cos mine is purple and pink packaging....I think....not took it out the wrapper...gonna have to have a proper look cos that one, with blue and purple looks WAY pretttier :rotfl:

No, mine is purple and pink too.. but am giving it away to new mummy. will have to introduce her to bootsing when she is up for it.:p ;)
  • Jill, I am so, so, so sorry to hear the terrible news. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this horrendously difficult time.

There are no words that could express the pain of losing a child, I just can't even begin to imagine what you are going through right now. If there is anything I or any of the other MSE's can do please let us know.

May your little boy Thomas rest in peace, God Bless you.

And Pollsdolls, thank you for letting us know (you're a true gem of a person).
