    Hi Becky,
The way the SA acted is really disgusting imo.
I agree that the ACM's are printed on old paper, as they now clearly have a "valid until" date on them. They are seriously contradicting themselves otherwise- it's meaningless to have a "valid to" date printed on it if the SA's can over rule that!!

As for her "they weren't all going to be used with vouchers were they?!" comment, I think I would have said that I did not want to buy anything from someone who was so very rude. I would also have asked for her name (even if she was wearing a name badge :p) as I would need it for when I phoned up customer services to complain.

How exactly was she going to look you up on the computer?? SA's do not have access to that kind of information, and if she only had your name from the ACM voucher then she wouldn't have much to go on as the chances are there are lots of people with the same name as you with Boots cards!

She can't confiscate your vouchers as she is not the manager and not the police!!
Please escalate this as far as you can and make sure that the highest people possible in Boots CS deal with your complaint, if only to make sure she doesn't speak to anyone else like that again.

It's also not fair on the lovely SA's out there who rarely get the credit they deserve- if you have 10 good transactions and 1 bad one, it is the bad one you will remember and dwell on. It only takes 1 bad SA to ruin the work of 10 good ones.

    Hiii all....
I hardly ever come on here now!
But yeah, i went to boots yesterday, and was buying a few goodies and using vouchers etc... And just my luck i get the most miseriable SA you could have. Anyway, i went to do the UG glitch.. she said i couldn't because it wasnt a styling product (even though it was) so i was like fair enough... I put another UG product through and used both the ACM and the till spit (no bleeps), then she stared at the voucher and was like 'you can't use the (ACM) voucher as you didnt print it off today'.. I was like.. urmmm yes you can, i have never had a problem with it before? She then shouted 'IM GOING TO TALK TO THE MANAGER'. 10 mins later and she came back 'I knew i was right, look.. it says here'.
It did actually say that on the back.
I was starting to get annoyed as she was saying it in such a rude way, i just really couldn't be bothered to handle it.
So i said 'oh, i dont want any of the items then'
'THERE ALL WEREN'T ALL GONNA BE USED WITH VOUCHERS, WERE THEY?!'
    Evem more embrassment lol.
'Well, im gonna just go to a different store'
'I need to take those all those vouchers off you'
'Err, no.. I can keep them if i like'
'Well, you get your card convercated (can't spell that word LOL) then'
    'Thats up to me'
'Well, i will just look up your card on the computer anyway'
So, i just walked out... feeling really embrassed and feeling a bit 'abused' in a way iynwim.
I know it doesn't sound that bad.. but it was how she was saying it etc.
She was like threating me that she was gonna report me?

I did report her and they said they are gonna ring me back, but it just feels like boots isn't worth it anymore iynwim. It has really put me off.

When i got into the car.. I honestly was nearly crying  lol... I shouldn't have to deal with that.

    Sorry for going on!
Hope everyone is doing okay. :A

    Hi Becky x

So sorry you had a carp shop with a miserable SA.

just reading the back of one of my acm vouchers and it says

This coupon can only be used on the date specified overleaf against the product describes. Subject to conditions specified on screen and on coupon.

One I'm looking at is for T&G mini Protect & Style Ltd Ed valid until 15th July.

So the coupon says valid until....

    Is that what yours said?

or are the SA's now interpretating acm vouchers we printed out a couple of weeks ago have to be used then when a date clearly stated on them.

God I'd so love to get a job in Boots and show these surly miserable crows a thing or two.:A

they are horrible the ones who stitched me up are they think people are using vouchers and its coming out of their pocket

    Hi cidergirl,
I would think this is unlikely tbh. If you can get CS to give you the dates of when the babies were allegedly added to your account then you can check this.
But didn't they say it was suppose to be 3 members of their household who had joined PC? They would have only been able to sign you up with the card you were using. Also if you have checked online and that says you are not signed up to pc then I would suggest you definitely fight this.
If you have not signed up to pc then Boots need to show you conclusive proof that you have. If you haven't done that then I don't see how they can take your points away
All the best with this- please keep us informed!

You mean she wanted to confiscate your card because you had a voucher printed earlier on the ACM? What a load of bunk. The more I hear stuff like this, the more I get put off Boots, too. It would still be inexcusable of her to act that way if it were, say, the glitch using the med PC coupon or expert vouchers, but at least then she would have a reason to look at the voucher more closely. But the ACM coupons and till spits are for everyone (at least if the coupon was in your name, and it sounds like it was). She should be fired and her manager given a stern talking to on staff training, imo.

And if you have any significant amount of points on your Boots card, you might want to go spend them immediately, on anything. It does sound like she was about to report your card, even though she had no grounds to do so. But she sounded like a real piece of work, so who knows what she'd accuse you of. I don't mean to worry you, but I'd hate for you to lose any points.

if I use the 2 x 1/2 price on baby expert skincare products can I 'buy' as many in one transaction by just using the 2 vouchers OR is it 2 vouchers on 2 items only?? If its as many items as I want then can I use the 500pts on £10+???

    TIA

used the BOGOF on med range today and got a till split too. The SA was so nice she was saying its BOGOF at the moment if you keep this for next time you can still get BOGOF, I was like can you scan it anyway so she did and replied 'oh Im sorry I must have got it wrong' i was in a differnt Boots store today because I was on a course. I'm back there tomorrow so.... me's thinking of popping in there tomorrow and hoping and praying shes working too. :0)

    For not using valid vouchers?!
Even though it saying valid until 17(?)th July...
But it does say on the back of the ACM vouchers.. to be used on the date of printing.. which i didn't know, but she ''''kindly'''' pointed that out  lol.

    Xxx

Urgh, even if it wasn't valid (which it was), how is that grounds to report someone?! I'm sure many people have tried to use a voucher that they simply didn't realize was expired. Should they be taken away in chains for that?!!

Sorry to go on, but Boots should be ashamed that this kind of behaviour is so common.
