Apparently the Welsh assembly decided they weren't going to give any discounts at all, from what I was told you still have to pay the full whack.
Well shame on the Welsh assembly, I feel a peed off letter from myself coming on!

I also have a question about council tax so I thought I would ask it here.
I'm currently serving in HMS Sultan an i'm now classed as a student and they get a discount. Is this the case when you live in a MQ?:oCurrent Debt £38,000:o

a student with a full time job...so no you don't get a reductionIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
Like I said before.
The other's in the same situation as me, but own a house get a discount. They have the same job as me but pay for their house. Both of us pay the same rate of council tax.
Now he gets the discount and I don't.
It's not about the full time job otherwise he would not get it.:oCurrent Debt £38,000:o

Why would you get a discount? You live in a MQ, just because you are on a training course does not entitle you to a discount on your CILOCT....{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

Entitled to what, a discount in council tax? You are not paying council tax, you are paying CILOCT (Charge in Luie of Council Tax)
