Why don't you pay by DD, the responsibility is with the bank then, and if you can't do that, just pay in earlier. You can't blame them for charges if you pay late. It's in their T&C's.0
-
Is their any reason why you cant pay by dd to avoid such charges. Bear in mind that when you signed the contract you agreed to these T&C in the first place.
PS. Are you aware that you are promoting a Mobile Phone Myth.;)
"Total nonsense," said Richard Windsor, an analyst with Nomura in London, who specializes in cellphones and cellphone equipment.
"Pure science fiction," said Marcus Dacombe, Nokia's head of product marketing and sales for Europe."

This is about the actual charges, like I said in some instances 100%.
The recent bank charges were in the banks T&C but were they fare.0 -

Have ago at them about what?
You choose not to pay them on time, so why should they not charge you for paying late as outlined in their terms, which you presumably agreed to in the first place.
If you dont like it you could always move to another supplier.;)0 -

Moving to another supplier isn't the case here. Its the actual amount charged.0 -
but how much exactly are the charges? i read on here of someone paying £85 monthly so are you saying they should have a sliding scale for LATE payments depending on how much you pay per month?0
-
£5 a month late charges.
The simple answer is pay your bills on time.0 -
right so its hardly a lot of money in proportion to a monthly bill of £85, thanks0

Charges are £10.00,So if you had Internet only for £10.00 thats the 100%.
The person paying £85.00  I can't help.
Its more an issue with people having no direct debit which is another £5.00 charge, then £10.00 on top for missing the payment.
This "The simple answer is pay your bills on time" doesn't help anyone really;)0 -

Of course it does. Pay your bills on time = no late payment charges.
Is it that hard to work out?0
