Live in a rented property, want a stove in fireplace.

We currently live in a rented house with a standard 16" open fireplace which we use. The ladlady is fine with us using it. We are considering an Esse 300 inset stove that just "slots" into your fireplace with no modifications needed, but can we just "slot" it in or does it have to be fixed into the fireplacein some way? if we can just slot it in, it would mean that if we were to leave the house we can take the esse with us!

it pretty much just slots in there, i seen one that was removed from a friends house and there didnt seem to be to it to be honest.
