OSPS,are they that bad? part 2
Thanks to those who have replied to my thread titled above.
Now read the next instalment.......
Decided to take the advice of fellow boarders, and stay clear of OSPS,and look for another deal with another supplier. After mucho reading,I looked at E2Save,and was interested in their price match deal. (This will become relevant later.) So,carried on looking, and found 3Gmobile,who were advertising Talk and Text 900 for £15.99 a month,by redemption.
Belled them up,but they'd gone home!!!!! It was only 5.45pm,how poor for a phone provider.
So remembered E2Save's price match offer,so,armed with the 3Gmobile webpage in front of me,I rung them and had a 45 minute conversation with a nice guy, which resulted in me getting the following deal:
Talk and Text 900,and a free Nokia 6680 in black. (Asked for the N70,but they haven't got it yet.)
750 x-net minutes
150 texts
Free in car kit, case,in car charger, cables, and a whole load of gubbins.
Cost??????? £15.99 a month on the price match deal.
Result or what??????
Alright,it's on 3,but they are getting better, and i don't think there's a better deal out there for 12 months, certainly not on Vodafone, who have made a last ditch attempt today to keep my custom,by ringing me.Once I mentioned what I had been offered on 3,even the girl said there was no way they could match or beat that, and agreed that 3 are getting there.
Ken.

I had vodafone for years and 4 months ago opted for the 6680 on 3 and got a nice deal that suited me and too be honest its been great so far, ive dropped one call when i was in a lift but it would have been dropped anyway, i get reception in morrisons which i couldnt get on orange and i get delivery reciepts too and i think the majority of the problems with 3 were on non nokia phones so youve got the 6680 that should be fine. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

I have to say, that I would agree with that comment.
A work colleague of mine has a 6630 on 3,and he says he has no problem whatsoever with calls.I was talking to him today,as he was driving down the M6 in Cumbria, while I was on the A1 in N.Yorkshire, and reception was fine.
I have had Nokias in the past, and found them to be excellent phones, hence the reason why I'm having one on 3,and not anything else.(Currently have a Motorola)
Roll on Tuesday.

E2Save and OSPS are divisions of the same company ... part of the Carphone Warehouse.

you know with 3 phones you can turn of the 3G signal and just use the o2 one, which means as long as you dont video call, you'll have a cracking reception0
