However one would have to ask why anyone would want to be associated with a scammer? If there are suggestions that all is not well then wouldn't it pay a business person to contact their associate and ask that either it be sorted out or that any business asscociation be disbanded?David_Perks wrote: »I happen to know the person who runs Talisman Rail (he lives 2 miles away from me), and I believe that while he is linked to Prestige, he is not part of the scam. As above, business is a cut throat affair, if you associate with others that have a poor reputation then it is easy to be tainted by association. You actually state he is 'linked' does that mean they have any joint financial responsibility here as if so they might need some legal and financial advice very soon as I think there are a lot of very unhappy customers looking for some sort of recompense here.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi,
I Purchased A Trip To Euro Disney Back In March, and Have Had Nothing But False Promises And Absolute Lies.
What I Cant Believe Is This Company Is Still Trading, untill Recently I Was Recieving Lies From Them, lately They Dont Even Reply.
Its Getting To The Point That I May Have To Pay Someone To Find Them And Retreave My Money And The Costs.
Has Anyone Had A Refund?
I can confirm you won't get a Refund, so please go to your local Police station and give them a copy of this thread along with your complaint. Also adivse them that David Hunt @ Trading Standards has a file on the companies and that Ebay will have a file of several hundred disputes to give as sufficient evidence confirming that this SCAM has run into hundreds of thousands of pounds - let alone with the websites still up & running (https://www.rainbowhorizons.net, https://www.prestigerail.com & https://www.xcite-travel.co.uk).nb. Everyones needs to do this, to help get things moving!! Rail-Blue Charters have ended their relationship with Prestigerail, so that is a good thing.

IF you know the person that runs Talisman Rail, check if they have any addresses so we can track this guy down.... NB. Talisman Rail is the company that supposedly shows up on the payments when they con you on the prestigerail website, so they must have something to do with it!! Or at least be able to give a lead.....0 -

Right, I've had an email back, and Talisman Rail is an exclusive booking agent for Rail Blue Charters only.
From what I've been told by both those companies, they were in talks with Prestige Rail Services over various things, but decided not to go ahead with any form of partnership. The owners of Prestige Rail, must have decided that because the talks were underway, that meant they could put all the RBC charters on their site, as well as the details for Talisman Rail as the booking agent. As you may have seen, in the past few days, those tours have been removed from the site, and Talisman Rail is no longer mentioned.
Another thing. I'm not connected in anyway with any of the companies mentioned in this thread, but I do know the people who run Rail-Blue Charters and Talisman Rail, and I do know they do not want to be connected to anyone or any company that trades fraudulently. That is why they did not make any form of partnership with Prestige Rail.
Speaking as a rail enthusiast now, I'll say don't touch Prestige with the proverbial barge pole. Until recently, they have not been heard of in the railway community, and other companies have shunned them before they can even get started.
As far as I'm concerned, I've provided you with everything I know, but if you think something else does need clearing up, the send me a PM or email, and I'll look into it as soon as possible.
JJ453, I'm not going to provide an address either publicly or via PM, as I don't want to be responsible in anyway for starting a lynch mob. I know you people are unhappy with the various companies involved, but I'm standing by what I've said in this post. IE. Prestige have taken it upon themselves to add the links, even though the partnerships were not confirmed.
EDIT with a big update :: All tours have been removed from the Prestige Rail website, along with booking details. Looks like every other company that offers tours has shunned them now. If have you have booked a tour through them, contact them ASAP for a refund.0 -

I see he is gradually closing down the https://www.prestigerail.com website, we just need to see the closure of https://www.rainbowhorizons.net which is also run by the same Con-Man....!
Keep your eyes peeled on the https://www.xcite-travel.co.uk website, and if anyone knows of any other that are connected be sure to add to this post.
Remember - Everyone go to their local Police station to log a statement regarding this criminal activity.0
