Hi, does any one know if the big four operators (O2, T-mobile, Orange and Vodafone) still let you use your inclusive minutes to call non-geographic numbers (0808, 0845 etc). I'm just back from the far east and need to make a lot of international calls via cheap call providers who mainly use these numbers. I'm getting a new contract but these no point getting a lot of minutes is I'm going to have to pay to call these numbers. i have been trying to read the tariff small print all day and am now very confused. can anyone please help me?

No UK operators now allow you to call 08 Non-Geographical Numbers out of your inclusive minutes.

I'm on an Orange retention plan (Select 500) and this plan includes 0800 and 0808 freephone numbers in the allocation of minutes.

Thanks for the replies, but i trawled through all the companies in the "International call checker" and localphone gives you a local number, tis 0.29p (thats point 29 of a penny) more expensive than the cheapest call through provider, but it means i can just use my inclusive minutes as i don't have to use a non-geographical number. thought people might like to know

Use the following number and once connected will allow onward connection to any freephone number (0808 0800 0500 etc ... )

    The number is 0200 222 0700

Not if your on Virgin or T-Mobile as the number you quote does not work.

Can you tell me what is this number.. I think it can't be a landline number. I just want to make sure it is part of inclusive mins with O2 and Three.
