Not nearly "valued at £179.99". Take a look at this site selling them for £79.99:- http://www.telephonesonline.co.uk/details.asp?prodID=1016&title=Home+Security+Telephones+and+Devices

    Cheers

    * This is subject to a subscription to a monitoring service incurring a separate monthly fee. The BT Home Monitor VP1000 comes with first 3 months monitoring included in the price. After this time, monitoring is charged at a monthly fee of £5.00.
I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

£5.00 isn't a lot if you consider how much your paying to get your Alarm serviced yearly plus the fact having a Home Monitor System will reduce your annual insurance??

It also alerts you via e-mail , mobile texts etc if any intruders or if a fire broke out, i'd be quite happy with that!
