You don't wanna know the visuals I've just had reading this!!!!
Are you using red or brown sauce? :rotfl:"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

It is that what you do, good or bad,
will come back to you three times as strong!

Maybe I could do one of each and see which works best...a scientific experiment no less!0

Right...I conducted my experiment and the ketchup definitely won. Neither are perfect but I would say that the brown sauce one is 30% clean and the ketchup one about 60% do I will do another treatment using the red on both. Also the consistency of the ketchup was better, more "gloopy" and it didn't run off as easily. DD hasn't stopped complaining about the smell though saying it's making her feel sick. It's not that bad, a bit like a chippy but heh, if it works!!0

I clean my brass scales pan with ketchup;)0

I tried brown sauce but I wasn't impressed with the results:cool: . I then found the wadding in a tin (brasso
) in my cupboards and that worked better.

I cleaned a badly discoloured brass door knocker with a paste made up from lemon juice and salt and was very impressed. Check that your items are solid brass before cleaning. Also that they have no protective lacquer.0
