Blackberry - help I don't know where to start

Hello
Can anyone help me, I'm not very good technically.... I'm setting up a new business and need to be notified when I get emails and then I wish to be able to reply to them instantly wherever I am. Internet access is needed as well. I've heard that Blackberry are good but I just wondered if there were any other options and in all cases, where do I start, what provider, what do I need and likely cost. Any help in the right direction would be extremely greatfully received. Thanks so much

a blackberry is a mobile handset and special settings and mobile line are needed, orange, t-mobile and o2 do themthings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then
