w800i owners help!

maybe i m a bit dumb but can anyone who own a w800i know what the memory stick duo adapter that comes with the phone is used for? And my other quesh is you know you can buy the leads for the w800i to plug it into your home hifi stereo ...well is there anyway i can get it through my cassette player in my car? i know you can get your personal cd player to come through it with a cd tape adapter? Any other tips most welcome....

The ms duo adaptor is so you can use the ms duo in the previous memory stick devices such as cameras etc, but they gotta be pro compatable for the sticks greater than 128mb
The hifi has to have the stereo jack input or you can get the leads no problem to convert them to rca jacks found at the back of hifi's

Your car has gotta have a stereo 3.5 mm jack in put.....its the same size as the plug at the end of a set of headphones.........I know cos my car has and yes I do plug my k750 w800i in to play music dvd's mpeg's etc......even take calls.......cool or what!

cool....but where would your mic be when you take calls..or do you mean you still pick up the phone but the callers voice come through the car speakers?

The mic is good enough to pick up your voice, the callers voice sound comes through your car speakers, epecially if you use speaker phone function the moby will pick up your voice ok, you can set the w800i to voice answer pick up a call as well .....cooler or what?

what i need i think is one of those tape converters with a sony ericcson plug on the other...surely could i not adapt one from the ones that are already available that plugs into a personal cd player...where did you purchase your hifi lead from and how much?

Yeah if your car hifi dont have a jack input you can use a cassette adaptor, what I would do is , cos the w800i lets you plug in your own choice of head phones dont it?

Plug the cassette adaptor in that.

You can get headphone leads for SE's that allow you to choose your own headphones, then you are sorted you can do virtually anything with the stereo output of your w800I

sounds good....never heard of se allowing you to choose your own headphones....where to you suggest i can get those leads? any link? sounds good so far!! btw theres no other hole on the w800i except the charger plug hole...

Yeah cable mmc 60 its called to plug into your hifi, and the cassette adaptor will go straight in the phones as provided.

You put your SE leads in and they are in two parts the actual headphoens can be changed, keeping the se phone connection intact you dont need a jack soket on the phone.

Is this the best moby ever or what??............er well no actually! ! theSE k750i is basically the same thing only they aint sprayed it orange and the ms is 64mb not 512mb. But you can get hold of these unlike the w800i

There's a company that will flash your K750i into a W800i.....so you get the better media player, can use the media player with the phone switched off (on a plane naybe)................................ but you don't have to walk round with a woman's phone all day
