I will be watching until near the end of the auction so will let you know what that lot sells for, though they will update the website to show the prices everything went for.

I will be interested to see if a flat I had my eyes on, sells. We made a cash offer many months ago on it and the estate agent told us someone outbid us, so we told them to let the other person have it. Twenty minutes later they called us back and said the other person said we could have it, so they were obviously trying to pull a fast one to up the price :naughty:

I'm watching the current auction online... I think almost every single property has gone unsold

Could you post a link please.

Not much selling. Guess that the pro landlords are looking very closely @ yields.

Hardly. This forum is just as much property !!!!!! as any of the TV shows. Though perhaps a bit more S&M!

I was specifically thinking of Homes under the Hammer, which drives me nuts. The two inane presenters make Krusty & Phil look wonderful. As for the backing music - I'm surprised my TV has survived so long.

I've seen 3 bed houses not too far from me sell for £50k at auction, these are houses that would easily have sold for £100k through an EA six months ago. :)

    Where are you?
Could you point me to an agent that might have such property comming up?

    Many thanks:cool:

Lot 198 looks like it's still got the bailiff's note stuck in the window.

Hi, There is a Barnard Marcus auction tomorrow 30th July at 7 p.m. at the Galpharm Stadium, Huddersfield. If you look on rightmove there are houses coming up at 50k (there is one for 20k). A x
    Don't believe everything you think.

Blessed are the cracked...for they are the ones who let in the light. A x
