>the Government being basically bankrupt<
We haven't a clue about the tens, maybe hundreds, of ££ billions in liabilities that pension-thief Brown has hidden in off balance-sheet wheezes during the tax'n'bungle years.
What's certain is that Clown was borrowing like mad during the 10 years of the best economic position of any post-war government but didn't spend 1p on fixing the roof while the sun was shining.
Now the the gold has gone, the gas and oil have gone, the manufacturing has gone...Nulabour turned Britain into a giant Ponzi scheme and the music has just stopped.
Long bleak decades of grinding austerity, living hand-to-mouth lie ahead - I fully expect a break down in social order to accompany us tumbling into the economic abyss.0 -

Maybe I should book our flights out of here then before the air prices rise even further  I can cash buy a little apartment on the algarve now should I so wish
Many MSErs simply wont need to live a hand-to-mouth existence as many of us have prepared for all this in advance - thanks to Martin & team whos presence has allowed me, and many others like me to ride out the storm that UK plc is facing just now :money::beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

We will see...there are a lot of changes on the horizon.

In all seriousness, its not just I in our social circle who has returned to live with my family. The only people within our perr group in our social cicle who have bought are an actor with film proceeds, people who have been beneficiaries of wills in there family (a few of those) and [STRIKE]two[/STRIKE] three people their fathers could afford to buy them a house too. in fact, for multiple children. But for by far the majority of us thats not an option
Not many of the ones who've stayed at home or moved back home are with permanant partners or married though.0 -

Before you install a new programme, you can create a system restore point, which will enable you to take the system back to the point before you installed the programme if needs be. Press Start/ then All Programs/then Accessories/ then System Tools/then System Resore.

I want to buy one of the houses that didn't sell lol (in theory)...... does anyone have an idea how I'd do this? Ring them I guess..... anyone done this before?
And yes I'm serious!
btw what's structural movement? lol
[waits for abuse]
Yes it`s quite normal to talk to the auction house if a proprty fails to make it`s reserve. Structural movement? Hmmmmmmmm. Check that out before doing anything.0 -

Those that can watch it can you let me know what happens to Lot 234, as my brother was interested in the place but did not have his finances ready in time. Although I told him I really did not think it is worth anything near the guide price after seeing the mess it's in.0
