It works well on bruises, muscle strains and Athlete's Foot!

    Fabulous stuff!

Oh fantastic, athletes foot is a real problem in our house, sweaty male feet in stinky old boots all day. I'll definately give it a whirl, and it's probably cheaper than canestan anyway.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Just whatever you do, don't get it too close to your eyes as it'll make them run like hell!:-)

Perfect for when you get some sand in your eye then! Seriously, I used it for that and it worked, just don't get it IN your eyes = bad!!!

I have used it for migraine and headaches - it certainly clears my head even if it doesn't get rid of the headache. Anything's worth a try!
  • Tiger Balm is the only thing that works on my migraines. My mother in law introduced me to it in the 70's, she was from India and swore by it and used it on EVERYTHING! Its more expensive than vick, jar for jar, but does far more than vick could ever do.
Sorry to say though alared, the one from Poundland is pure rubbish. If you'd ever used the proper stuff you'd know. I bought 5 jars in £ shop and had to sell them on at a car boot sale for 20p each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get mine at the local Chinese store, costs about £5.75 and worth every cent.

My mum swears by tiger balm for her migraines too and she used to get her chinese friends to buy it for her from Chinatown.

my mum swears by rubbing some olbas oil on her forehead for headaches, i suppose it's similar to 4head but more likely to run into your eyes lol!

i get swollen ankles and feet in summer. i'm not sure if it actually helps but tiger balm takes away the feeling, i love it :-)

I saw this on the shelf at Savers last time I was there, and didnt really take much notice. I had never heard of it before. I am regular user of 4head as I get headaches quite often and find it hard to swallow tablets. I sometimes take dissolvable paracetamol but prefer not to take any at all so any other option is great. 4head is menthol based, what is the main ingredient of Tiger Balm? Sometimes 4head doesnt work completly.. hopefully tiger balm will work more effectively. My mum suffers from terrible sinus trouble, and migrains it sounds like it will work well for her. I'll give it a try and see if it works. :)
