Afternoon all, lots of different posters today. Am back on usual form today as i have finally gone and done it! Have handed my notice in,:j feel so much better for having done it, even if technically i have no job to go yet! Told the teacher i work with that i was going and she said she didn't blame me as she didn't think it was a nice school:mad: Why don't people tell me these things earlier!
Anyway, am going to have quite a relaxed evening, was meant to be going out tonight but really don't feel up to it and need to work on presentation for Friday.
-Have looked for mystery shops
-Will look for more jobs
-Sort out stuff for interview tomorrow
-Sort out train plans
-Will sort through emails
-Will look for more jobs:o
-Sort out stuff for the ones i've applied for
-Send off job application form
-Phone up etc about some more
-Do covering letter for another job i have applied for
-Do any surveys
-Look at SOA and see if there are any more ways of cutting it
-Do some matched betting
-Create handouts for friday
-Upload scanner that i forgot to do the other day
-Place a Tesco food order, am rather chuffed, its been over a month since i last placed an order and although i have bought a few bits and pieces, normally i place an order after three weeks, especially as last time i spent over twenty pound less than normal.:T
-Sort out finances
Think that is it for me, am going to have rather a relaxed evening, with exception to my presentation which i need to make look good!
Sophiesmum, no i haven't heard anything from eternal optimist, hope she starts posting soon as i enjoy her posts.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Sorry to hear that your day has not been great and that this month won't be great... chin up chicken xxEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
Cleosmum, so sorry to hear your having a crap time of it at the moment, remember every cloud has a silver lining and things will get better. You've done so well so far so don't let it beat you. Have a good cry if you need one and then pick yourself up and get ready to keep going.
Have you made sure you are signed up to as many mystery shopping places as possible? Don't forget it is free bingo tomorrow at gala bingo, so you never know your luck.
Really hope things improve for you but until them am sending positive thoughts and big hugs your way.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Thanks Crawley girl and Andan
I am wondering if my Dad could lend me money to get me out of the poop, but I hate to ask - pride I think! Its all gone pear shaped because I was waiting for a someone to pay their invoice, supposed to be paid when the invoice is sent - on the 1st! Apparently its in the post, but the guy doesnt seem to appreciate that we still need to live. My rent was supposed to be paid on 6th june, and whilst I have most of it, I dont have all of it. My landlord is very very good, and I have paid it as late as 24th before, but I am aware of the fact that this cheque isnt even going to start clearing until monday (if it arrives this week). The next invoice is due to be sent on 1st, and I shudder to think how long it will take him to pay that one
i think the worst thing is that if he had told me it would be this late i could have not overpaid things and been ok, but it was only when we chased it on again monday that he said he didnt have it *argh* its times like this when i see the huge pitfall to being self employed
(and none of it was helped by the fact this client had the money to go away for a long weekend grrrr).
Ooooooooh sorry to moan! Will be going through qiudco and pigsback tomorrow to see which do cashback on bingo, then check which do free bingo! Will sign up to Gala too. Do Foxy still do a free tenner for newbies? Another job for tomorrow will be to sign OH up to quidco and PB and signing up to all the free stuff. i know it doesnt help now, but it will in future. Will also look at the dreaded ebay and get some stuff listed.0 -
It sounds quite tricky, especially if he is a regular client as, like you said, you don't know how long it will be for next months cheque to arrive. Families are there to support us and even though no one likes asking their family, if it gets them out of a tricky situation it maybe worth it.

Nice to see you back eternal optimist, hope you get back to posting more, i know it can sometimes become a bit tiresome, but even if you don't have new things to post, sometimes just writing them on here motivates you to keep it up and reminds you of why you are here. Plus, i often find it motivates me to find new ways of doing what i can.
P.S, my exam for D218 went ok, my arm was aching afterwards though! Hope i've passed but was surprised by how much i remembered!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
