Yes, I suppose it is...
I'm going for a job interview tomorrow but tbh, I like my jb at MFI-I only wish I didnt have to do weekends as it's such hard work with the kids/childminding and I hardly see them at all.
Problem is, 90% of my experience is retail/sales related.
Do you think it would be ok to ask for 'parent friendly' hours??Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Whilst I work in personnel, my brain's switched off for the day, but if memory serves, you can indeed apply for flexible working arrangements if your children are under 6. This age is changing next year I believe. Have a look at direct.gov.uk and that might give you some information. You put it in writing and your employer has x no. of days to reply and they must give v good reasons why they can't accomodate your request. So it's worth a look!
Time for me to go now I'm afraid! DH wants the laptop now, and I suppose I have hogged it for the evening! Won't be about for a few days now as off to Heathrow to pick up DH's aunty tomorrow and then spending a couple of days with DH's family! See everyone soon!
