If you steam clean your carpets and soft furnishings, then you will cut down on the amount of dust mites you have.

can you get one of those bubbles to live in Spud? lots of films with them in the 70s...

I'm actually not doing too badly this year and have got off lightly so far but having had terrible years I can sympathise spud.

Yes Z, steaming cleaning is a good idea but you have heard the expression "life's too short to stuff a mushroom"? well...;)

It doesn't take a long time - you just wander about once a month or so and attend to all your furnishings. Besides - you're being nice to them. The live steam will keep them warm for the rest of their lives...

I dont do all I could to help myself Skinty.

We have a very large dog and several cats, all obtained before I knew about my allergies. Medical advice was to get rid, but they're part of the family and that isnt an option. We also live in a very green area, surrounded by trees, and I wouldnt give that up for anything.

I guess I'll just have to keep taking the tablets :D
