Telephone and Broadband Service providers and Deals

Hey folks. I'm finding that advertised deals for unlimited calls and broadband connection are not available in Downpatrick when I contact Sky or Talk Talk. On both occasions, I am offered an alternative deal costing anything from £17 plus per month. Anybody have any success getting a better deal than this with BT or anyone else?

Most likely there is no LLU service available in your exchange area.

I have looked at Downpatrick exchange and it does indeed look like there are no LLU services there yet, thus you wont be ablt to get any free deals as yet. The sky deal is attractive tho if you have TV, phone and broadband. You will have to pay a little for the BB but not much.
You can also look for alternatives. The O2 broadband is on offer until the end of June with no connection fee if you sign up before June 30th and a £5 per month discount for life if you have an O2 phone (Contract or PAYG with at least £10 top up every 3 months). Again, you cant get their super cheap LLU serivce but their "access" service which is available on all exchanges is still very reasonable for a no limits service and is getting very good reviews at present.
