How to get an upgrade out of orange?
Hi, I could do with some advice from you knowledgeable peeps.
I am on contract with Orange (which expires in November) currently with the Samsung e700 which I love, but is a bit battered, as I drop it a lot! No it's not insured.
Anyway, I REALLY want the samsung e530 in pink. I got a call the other day from some irritating woman from 3, offering me the samsung e530 and about 4 billion free minutes and texts all for tuppence ha'penny a year - all good, other than the fact that I really like Orange, and have been with them for over 11 years (only on contract for the last year though).
So - how do I get the e530 out of Orange, as I really don't want to change?
Please help!

the e530 is only on orange in blue, not on pink, think vodafone has it in pink unfortunately,
ring 150 from ytou handset then, option 4, then think its 1, if your wanting to leave orange,
say you want to leave cuase better deal, but your willing to give up the better deal for a better phone (e530) in this case,
they may give you an early upgrade after 11 months, so try them after 11 months, if they dont budge, no harm, ring back up, and try again, at another point0 -
Forget the upgrades.....take out a new contract!
You will always be better off with a new contract you'll get the 6months 1/2 price line rentaland £50 for your old moby....I do it all the time!
Ask to put the new phone on your existing account....hassle free way to more mins at lower cost and a nice shiney new moby!0 -
Woohoo! Hooray for Orange. First call backfired a bit, when the bloke on the phone took me a bit too literally and offered to turn my phone off there and then so I coud go to Vodafone.......
Then tried again, and got through to a very nice lady, and despite still having 6 weeks on my current contract, she has given me:
New Phone! Samsung e530 Yippeeeee! (I am sooooo shallow :rotfl: )
500 x network anytime minutes
100 texts
6 months half price line rental (£15)
I am a happy bunny. Thanks for the advice x"It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it comin'."
