    I am making small regular overpayments and I am on track for clearing mine by Xmas still.

    Just remembered will have £120 extra in next months wages for the 10% tax thing so will be some more I can chuck at it :T

    Paid off M&S! Next need to pay off Egg (approx £250) in Oct and pay half of Barclaycard in Oct and then rest of that in November. So I will have paid 3 cards off by Christmas..... but they are all the small balances. Next target after that Capital One......
    Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
    1) MFW Nov 21 £202K now £171.3K Equity 36.55%
    2) £2.6K Net savings after CCs 10/10/25
    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £30.9K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.25K) = 35.5/£127.5K target 27.8% 14/11/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 62K or 48.6%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise) (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)

    Welcome to all newbies and excellent news on payments being made - remember everything you pay off, however small, is significant in the longer term!

    I managed to pay a chunk off HSBC yesterday courtesy of a tax credits payment, so that card now stands at £2800 ish :D Def hoping that one too will be gone by Christmas.

    please could you update the list at the front of the thread so show me now debt free the £600 i was aiming to pay by xmas is all gone!!!

    hint and tips - keep account of what you spend, join loads of challanges, look at the up your income board, make loads of friends on here, sell everything and pay extra regularly!!!!
