Hi all,
Managed to pay £400 off my debts. I can't wait to smash the £23,000 mark next month, It will feel great psychologically.
Better stop wishing the month away. It's only the 2nd July. Am determined to get rid of this debt though. Am sick of it. It has been a way of life for the last 7-8 years.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi everyone,
i've only just come across this thread and thinks it's a brilliant idea and would love to join in please. I dont think i'll be able to clear a debt in full (would be lovely if i could) but will aim to pay £1000 back to my catalogue by xmas. Going to work out my finances to see if i can cut back anywhere else or see if there is anything i can sell to help boost my total.
Everyone else seems to be doing really well so far, I'm sure we can all make it:D£387.39/£196.46

Hi Nickynoo,
Welcome! I can't pay back all of my debts eitherso am aiming to pay back some of my various debts. If I have something to aim for I am more likely to do it than if I was doing it on my own.

Hi everyone :hello:
I feel like I'm being a bit slow of the mark with this challenge.
I have things in the pipeline which I am going to use towards this challenge, but just have no hard cash to pay off at present...
I have a few items on ebay, and a mystery shop next week. I have set up a standing order for £50/month to come off the debt (the actual debt is with my mum, which she has put on 0% for me). The standing order amount is the same as what I would have been sending to the cards for the minimum payment each month. If I send that July-Dec it will be £300. Sooo...there is £1199.91 left to find...!
Well, best get my finger out hadn't I now... :rotfl:0 -
Right I'm off ..made a £40 overpayment to BMI ....my other debts are getting paid as well but I have only included halifax and Bmi in this challenge.0
