Yeah, I agree with doodledoo. I would have found it hard to resist the temptation to spend some of it!

Well, have just listed 3 items on Ebay as it is 5p today (well from Midnight & all day Tuesday). I have lots more to list but think it will have to wait until tomorrow. I would be delighted if I made £50 from all of it but realistically it will prob be nearer £15. Anything I don't sell I am going to give to the charity shop and at least I will have had a proper clear out of my flat!

Hi everyone, a quick update from me. As a reminder, I want to clear 50% of my Virgin CC. I consolidated all my debt to the 0% offer last month. I have made first DD payment and we are saving my OH salary and living just off of mine. So far so good, 1st DD was £392.55 (Brings total down to £12,994.82).
Also savings from OH plus child benefit of £846.72.
    So....total left is now £12,148.10
I therefore need £5,454 by Xmas.
The good news is that my OH will earn another £500 this month plus the £172 ish for child benefit
Bad news is, car insurance due next month and my OH now does not work August because of school holidays.
Target should be down below £5,000 by end of this month :)
Thank you MSE for helping through this!!! It really has made us focus and to clear this debt asap!!

    Hi Lewki,

We have a similar amount to clear by Xmas, as you will see by my signature below. I will be ok for 2 months and should clear a fair bit as OH is working, but I will struggle when he goes back to Uni. You certainly sound determined anyway.

    Hi everyone,
My final payment on my egg card has just cleared:T . 1 bill down 3 to go. I originally wanted to pay £1000 off my catalogue, but have decided to try and pay my nana back first. She borrowed me £250 when the builders got funny with me and demanded money there and then! She said she can wait but feel awful so off to pay her £60 today while i've got it, and dont want to tempt myself as i'm off to town tomoro.
