HI,

Does anyone know if any company offers a mobile phone contract for people without bank accounts? I have a friend who is looking for a minutes plus text monthly contract, but who does not have a bank account.

Thanks in advance for your help

Most if not all require bank account.

If they don't have a bank account, you have to wonder if they are financially competent enough to commit to a mobile phone contract.

You don't need a bank account to get a contract, as you can pay by other methods. You do however need a credit or debit card to get a credit check in order to get a contract.
I accept no liability if you chose to rely on my advice.
  • If they want sim only there are good offers from MVNOs like giffgaff offer contract like deals with PAYG commitment... Otherwise they might need to get saving!
