I'd still take it up with Comet on the Sale of Goods act, as you'd expect the HDMI input to last more than 2 years, and if you've never used it before, then it was obviously faulty to begin with, so they should repair it for free.
tried with comet not budging they are prepared to go to court by the looks of things0 -
If the OP has only just used the HDMI and found out it's not working, can't it be expected that the fault was already there when he bought the television? If it was then I can't see how he'd should have to pay for it. Don't they have to prove that the OP has damaged it in some way?There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson.
