3 contract - can I change the phone?

Hi

I have just bought a contract on 3, its the tarriff I was interested in. It comes with a ugly phone (Motorola C975) and I was hoping to use the sim card in my current phone. Is this possible?

    If your current phone is a 3g phone already on 3 then Yes.
    If it is a 3G phone that has been unlocked then Yes
    If it is not a 3G phone then No.
