    Sorry I couldn`t get here earlier, I could not find my own thread!
    After searching and ringing a few garages, we phoned up the central place. Would you believe it , They found that we had it done. It was MOT last year in September, but there is no record of it on line.
    The lady thought it was unusual, but it hapens. Phooo I was realived.
    Thanks for the answers I apreciate the time some of you have spent on this.

    Jvic28 I couldn`t find it on the webb, because they didn`t bother to put it there at the first place. So not realy my misstake.

    I gathered that was the case by your earlier reply. I wasn't suggesting it was your mistake. Glad it's sorted now anyway.

    Hi, Apparently, if you need a replacement MOT you can go to any testing centre and as long as you have got your car registration number, the garage can look up the details of your MOT and issue you with a replacement. It shouldn't cost you more that £10.00. Thats what the Gov website says. I misplaced one a couple of years ago, I got a replacement mot from the garage that originally did it for me. Cost me £8.00. went home and the next day i found the original one. Oh well, at least i was able to tax the car the day before it was due. Hope this is of some help to anyone.
