    I used (seccessfully) this address:

    Cashback Claims

    Onestopphoneshop

    PO BOX 337

    Crewe

    CW2 8WE

I always use recorded signed for mail. Check delivery online, then in 2-3 days call OSPS for confirmation that everithing is OK and the claim is being processed.
However, if the letter is lost by Royal Mail (this happens!) compensation is very small (maximum something about £30). If you want to have full peace of mind use Special Delivery.
  • thank you grumbler for address.

recorded signed is around £0.50-£1. how much is special delivery?

    thanks,

Good job you reminded me of this. I sent two claims off on 28th Sept. one to Dial A Phone and the other to OSPS via recorded delivery. Just checked the tracking numbers on line and guess what, Dial A Phone have got theirs, but OSPS..... no, bl**dy Royal Mail haven't even attempted delivery yet. Great!!!!

I have a spare voucher form that OSPS sent me with the in car charger (which came a couple of weeks after the phone), I am wondering whether to send that one off too or just wait and see if they get the other one.

    Recorded signed for???????? hmm!

I just had two such Items requiring signatures pushed through letterbox WITHOUT any request for signature, no wonder they cause problems.

Hmmm... very true, they once left a recorded parcel outside my door as I was out and they had even tried to peel the label off, but only managed to remove half of it!

Luckily I still have about 2 - 3 weks to put my claim in. I am thinking it would be wise to send off the spare voucher I have, via Special Delivery, then claim back the lost one. Royal Mail say they will give up to 17th October to deliver it as there could be a back log....

    thanks again,

    sorry another question:

i need to send in two claims for the same deal. after the above comments i am going to opt out of recorded delivery.

can i instead send in both claims in one package via one special delivery?

    - charlotte3 : i never ever got that 250 text bundle from the sony deal :( I found out today. I am just so annoyed to try reason with them -

    thanks,

That's bad news! they should have given it to you, it was sorted out months ago, they started giving me 250 free texts in July, and refunded the previous months texts that i'd been charged for.

I never got the £10 online cashback/cheque/voucher/discount thingy they were supposed to give me though!

How could anyone recomend this company, they are so incompetent!

    You decide ...
OSPS are known for using every opportunity to avoid paying cashback. That is why I use recorded mail and send claims separately. Otherwise it could be very difficult to prove that you sent two claims in one (even special delivery) post.
