    Dean, you are correct. I can't even transfer the funds from my e-saver to the fixed rate over the phone. The only way to move the money across is to move it from the e-saver, to my current account, and back to the fixed rate. Doing so will probably lose about two weeks worth of interest and is probably not worth me the hassle.

    Instead, I'm planning on opening a Halifax 6.7% 9 months fixed.
