I went to the one in bristol - very nice food, friendly staff but there was absolutely no other customers there for half an hour! very quiet.

Is it because of the credit crunch?

Also, any comments on flavourz - whats it like there?

I've found a deal at 19 selected JW Lees pubs. most of the pubs are around the Manchester area, but there is one in Anglesey and two in Cheshire too. If you go to their website jwlees.co.uk, you can print off a voucher from the homepage link, then you get 25% off your bill. There are a few terms and conditions but nothing major, and JW Lees do a great pint of bitter too!

A friend and I went to the M&S cafe in Warrington on Wednesday morning and had a toasted teacake and hot drink each. When we went to pay we were not charged for the drinks. We were told they have an offer at the moment and drinks are free when purchased with hot food before 11.00am.
I am not sure if this offer is specific to the Warrington Gemini store and whether the offer applies only on specific days. Nevertheless it was a pleasant surprise!

Anyone mentioned the Hotel Du Vin "2000 and wine" offer? £29 for two courses, a bottle of wine and coffee for two. A similar meal cost us £100 just before Christmas! Covers the whole of Jan and Feb, except for Sat evenings and Feb 13/14.
