    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

VIP not turned up:mad: Made myself a cheese n tomato sandwich.

Was miffed about VIP because one of my other chums asked me to go out for lunch with her and I turned her down. Hey ho.

The sun has now come out and it has stopped raining, the sky is still very dark after the loud thunderstorm we just had.

    hate it when that happens...grrrr.

Just been looking into that Cambridge diet malarkey...it appeals to me as I wouldn't have to think about what to eat lol Haven't got a lot of weight to shift really (well a cpl stone anyway). It sounds like overpriced slimfast though...I don't have the willpower for anything and can;t exercise to the point where I would burn calories because of a health condition. grrrr

    having a crap day lol

CCastley - I have a couple of stone to shift as well, my own fault really because I stopped rushing around like a blue bottomed fly after I was made redundant and since then my tummy has spread:eek: I try and eat healthily but if a chocolate bar looks at me in that seductive way then I just have to eat it.

I should do more exercise but my vision problems prevent me from doing so (i used to enjoy hiking but dont want to walk around looking at the floor because I cannot see changes in level). Mind you, I had my blood pressure taken at the doctors the other day and it was a respectable 109/73:j

Maybe CC you are not eating enough?

    Hope your day improves.

Its the same problem with me Horace...always been quite curvy but never over a size 10/12 until last year when I fell ill. Since I first got signed off the weight's just crept up on me and it wasn't until I got the summer clothes out (and no, I don't know why I bothered either lol) that I realised just how much I'd put on.

I know I don't eat regular balanced meals - you were spot on there...I manage to feed the little one and the husband well enough but when it comes to myself I just can't be bothered or don't have the energy (vicious cycle/circle methinks?)

My blood pressure is lllloooooooooowwww. I can't stand up without feeling I'm gonna keel over lol. I know exercise would do me good, but it would also kill me off. The irony!

Phoned the Cambridge diet people but they reckon the doctor wouldn't agree to it anyway, plus it was a bit more expensive than I'd thought. Ne'er mind eh?

Hope your day improves too! Is it too late now to catch up with your other friend? :(

I am glad I made you laugh Bismarck. I now have visions of my neighbour with my wrench stuck where the sun don't shine:rotfl:

Had to laugh when I was making my lunch in my viewing gallery (uhm, I mean kitchen - nice windows, first floor and I can see out and be nosey), I saw a tow truck come and pick up her car:rotfl: :rotfl: I hope they sting her for a new tyre and for changing the wheel.

Anyway that's the last time the moody mare will get anything from me - other than perhaps a dose of WD40 to go on her bed springs, the constant eee eee eee eee eee drives me nuts (it only happens when she has a man in - when she has her girlfriend, you just hear the sound of buzzing - especially when the neck massager is dropped on the floor:eek: :rotfl: ).

Now I bet that has conjured up visions:D

Doh, I have just noticed the emphasis on the RAC
