I haven't logged on much this week so I've missed most of what's happened (Dalip did fill me in on some of it though). I think there is a big difference in trying to hide things from the OR and trying to keep as much as you can. Personally I didn't put most things down on my SOA that I could have put - didn't need to really as my outgoings exceeded my income as it was but if my income had been greater I would have put everything down that was allowable to try NOT to have an IPA. If I got an IPA then sobeit, it still would have been better than having all the debt that I had.

Evening all, this board is meant to be a place of support for people going bankrupt, not an easy place to be for most people who go through it. If you can't say something useful or supportive please don't post on here as your harsh words might just send someone over the edge.
There are plenty of general boards where you can make your thoughts known and if you think someone is a troll please use the abuse button.0 -

I welcome comments from folks who don't normally post on this forum HOWEVER I feel they must be made from a more informed position.
I think half the problem, both here and elsewhere, is that people tend to believe what they read or hear in the media or from other sources. In the majority of cases the comments are not based on the whole picture. I think this is what leads to misunderstanding and potentially hurtful comments.
The majority of us who have either gone BR or are considering it, have not done so lightly and it is rarely without having tried some other way out first. Bankruptcy is usually the last chance for desperate people and if, like me, you felt incredibly upset and fragile when going through it then uninformed comments just lead to further upset. At the end of the day, if I could have paid my debts I would have and still would if I won the lottery, not that I have the money to play!BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500 -

I don't know why the earlier comments where made either but as I have not said anything against you I don't understand why you are now having a go at me!
Also If you want to quote from a post, please quote from the whole post as editting to suit your comments is not very fair.
If you don't like what has been said (as you've stated in other areas) why are you still coming back to check?BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500
